I found a spot by accident ,
while feeling particularly alone one day.
There was something peacefully there.
A little barn in the middle
Of a very very urban area
Where there should never be
Such a place.. It was like finding
A secret !!
..........................
Sometimes being alone
Is better than feeling
Alone with people.
It was not a sad alone feeling
More like a realization
A sence of clarity .
Knowing that I alone
Am responsible for myself.
It is grounding now and
Again.. To remind myself
Of this... That I can make
Choices.. That I need to stop &
See where I am going.
Why I am feeling what I am
Feeling.. And make changes if
I choose to. How awesome is that.
..............................
So leaving there... I still felt alone
But, lighter... Free.. & happy
With being alone with myself.
